@dropandgivemenerdy’s top reads of 2017
Many Waters by Madeleine L’Engle
While I enjoyed all the stories in the Wrinkle in Time series, this is the standout. Something about pulling in the biblical story was just too cool to me. Plus, attractive twin boys. I was in middle school. Give me a break.Source:
What’s currently on top of your #TBRpile? The top of my TBR pile right now is Golden Son by Pierce Brown. Dying to start it, but gotta finish my annual Pride and Prejudice read first.
What’s the one book you always go back to? The book I always go back to is P&P. Consistently. Also Harry Potter.
What’s the last book you couldn’t put down? The last book I couldn’t put down was Red Rising. Right before that was Godsgrave. And before that, Strange the Dreamer. It was an excellent run of reads.
Corner-turner or bookmark babe? I have to admit, I’m a monster. I turn down corners if I don’t have page flags handy. I never use it to mark my place though. Only to mark passages I want to remember. I always use bookmarks.
