The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo: TBA

This adaptation has been on the minds of fans since the book was released in 2017, though its audience skyrocketed in 2020 as a viral BookTok pick. In 2022, Netflix announced it would be adapting the historical fiction novel into a film, sure to bring all the glitz, glamor, and scandal of Evelyn Hugo’s life alive. The movie is still in the development stages, so information like casting and release date haven’t hit the scene, but that hasn’t stopped fans from offering up some of their dream castings including Ana de Armas as the young Hollywood starlit Evelyn, and Raven Goodwin or Nathalie Emmanuel as Monique Grant, the unknown and down-on-her-luck reporter who will write Evelyn’s story. Taylor Jenkins Reid will be an executive producer, and Maggie Betts will direct the film.
