One of my fave things to do is read the same book with a friend so we can talk about it: How we love the heroine. How we would maybe leave our significant others for the hero if he came knocking. How fun it would be to live in the same setting as the book and meet all the characters. Although I have to admit, I LOVE my latest heroine Tara from my book The Friendship Pact, I would most definitely leave my husband for Riggs (husband said he totally understands!) and … another confession … I DO live in the setting of The Friendship Pact –at Lake Tahoe. So please feel free to read with your besties and discuss at length! Here are a few books we’ve read lately and loved.

The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

Not a new release, but still a huge fave of ours. We loved talking about the heroine not being afraid to put herself out there, even with her hesitation over being different. As I too feel “different” in the same way as the heroine felt, I loved how brave and courageous she was.

The Wedding Party by Jasmine Guillory

One of our favorites types of read (we inhale rom coms) and the cover alone sold us on this one. Plus Jasmine never disappoints me.

Archangel’s Prophecy by Nalini Singh

Nalini is hands down one of our favorite authors. Her heroine in this one is tough, a bit of a smartass, and fiercely loyal – even against the powerful and sexy archangel who is her lover. And don’t get between her and her best friend or she’ll come after you with hunter fury!

Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert

This one is also on my keeper shelf, it felt so honest, so raw. The heroine was one of my very faves, she is real, different, and truly wonderful.

The Friendship Pact by Jill Shalvis

Okay, this is my own book, but it’s a great one to read with your besties! It about what happens when you find true love when you’re just a teenager and you blow it, and years later you get a second shot at it. Do you take it? Hot hero, smart, sexy heroine. Add in a bunch of secrets. Stir…
