B.M. Hardin, the talented thriller author behind Give Him Back and Give Him Back 2: Kemp & Satin was delighted to share her favorite books with She Reads during ThrillHER month. Find out which books B.M. Hardin loves now!

A Day Late and A Dollar Short by Terry McMillan

A Day Late and A Dollar Short is my all-time favorite book. It’s the book that gave me the “one day, I want to do this too” feeling.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

I love this series. I thoroughly enjoy fantasy and paranormal books. Bella and Edward aren’t exactly what you would call a match made in heaven but in this vampire-heavy romance novel, the two find out that the best part about Forks, Washington is each other.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling

I spent many late nights when I was a child sneaking this series into my room after bedtime.

Editor note: If you haven’t read Harry Potter, it’s time to get on the bandwagon. Like Hardin, millions of fans around the world would do anything to see what Harry, Ron and Hermione are up to next.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

This book kept me guessing and satisfied my desire to be fooled and/or on edge while reading. When Amy disappears, it seems that foul play is involved. But when her husband starts to find clues she left behind, he’ll find that she’s setting him up for something much bigger.

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

Like Gone Girl, this dark thriller has a surprise ending you’ll never see coming. If you crave a story from the perspective of an unreliable narrator, this is a must-read.

The Naughty Series by Brenda Hampton

Plot twists and outcomes that make me angry was what I found in these books and surprisingly, I loved them!
