The only thing we want more than another rewatch of Off Campus… is season 2. The show had a second season already greenlit before season one went live, and they made the right call. Because fans are DYING for what comes next at Briar U. And while you can (and should) binge the series, we’ll all be waiting desperately until we see our new favorite hockey romance cast on screen again.

Until then, we can pine over the info we do have.

The Couple and the Cadence

Season 2 is officially focusing on Dean Di’Laurentis and Allie Hayes’ romance, adapting The Score (book 3) rather than following the series order and moving to The Mistake (Logan and Grace’s story).

This is one of the biggest departures, but one careful viewers could probably see coming as Allie and Dean’s storyline progressed in the show.

Showrunner Louisa Levy has compared the adaptation structure to Bridgerton, where each season centers on a different couple while maintaining the same ensemble cast. That being said, it’s also been discussed that the previous couples won’t fade into the background quite the same way. That we’ll still have more Hannah and Graham to enjoy.

Season Two Production

Amazon renewed the series in February 2026, approximately three months before Season one premiered. Levy revealed that all eight Season 2 scripts were already completed before Season one debuted, suggesting Prime Video had strong confidence in the adaptation early on.

Filming officially began June 1, 2026, with production continuing through the summer and into early fall. .

Industry reports currently point toward a likely 2027 release window.

Fans can expect their favorites to be back:

Mika Abdalla as Allie Hayes
Stephen Kalyn as Dean Di Laurentis
Ella Bright as Hannah Wells
Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham
Antonio Cipriano as John Logan
Jalen Thomas Brooks as John Tucker

Though Josh Heuston (Justin Kohl) will not return for Season 2 due to scheduling conflicts, producers have suggested the door remains open for a future return.

Book two may not be happening first, but it was also announced that India Fowler has been cast as Grace Ivers, the female lead of The Mistake.

Grace’s casting strongly suggests the series is laying groundwork for Logan’s eventual romance despite not making him the Season 2 lead similarly to the early introduction of Dean and Allie.

What We Expect to See

The adaptation has already demonstrated a willingness to rearrange storylines rather than follow publication order. Season one merged certain book characters and streamlined plotlines to strengthen the ensemble narrative. So we can expect to see more of the other books bleeding into season two to create a cohesive and collective story.

Prime Video has not officially clarified its long-term plan for Logan’s romance arc, but we’re hoping with the casting of India Fowler we might start getting sneak peeks of his HEA.

Carson Rowland has become the subject of fan-casting rumors after social media interactions with cast members sparked speculation that he could portray Jake Connelly, though no casting announcement has been made.

We will keep sharing every last bit of news we get, and in the meantime, make sure you check out our full interview with Elle Kennedy and the rest of the coverage for Special Digital Issue covering all things Off Campus.
