Shailene Woodley and Gabrielle Creevy to Star in Three Women Adaptation

The novel Three Women, which was released in 2019 to a smashing success, is in production to become a miniseries with Starz. After originally being adapted by Showtime in 2021, the company dropped the production and it was picked up by Starz. Now, almost three years later, Starz has just announced that Shailene Woodley, Gabrielle Creevy, Betty Gilpin, and DeWanda Wise are set to star in the miniseries. Get ready for the series release on September 13, 2024, by reading the novel of the same name, Three Women by Lisa Taddeo. This novel revolves around the emotional and sexual lives of three women of completely different backgrounds, offering readers a new perspective and understanding of women and culture.

None of This Is True to be Adapted by Netflix

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are Negotiating a Return for Practical Magic 2 

Fans of the 1998 film Practical Magic will be thrilled because Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are currently in talks to return for a sequel film. The sequel is set to be titled Practical Magic 2 with a screenplay by Akiva Goldsman. In addition to starring in the film, Bullock and Kidman are expected to be co-producers with Denise Di Novi. The original film and novel Practical Magic is about two sisters, Sally and Gillian Owens, who grapple with a family curse that dooms any man they fall in love with to an untimely death. While there are no official plot details that have been released, it is suspected that this much-anticipated sequel will follow the next generation of Owens women.

Bruna Papandrea’s studio, Made Up Stories, will be adapting The Pearl Thief. The screenwriter for One Life, Nick Drake, is set to be a part of the screenwriting team for this film. This adaptation is still in the extremely early stages of discussion and writing and will have more information being released soon. The Pearl Thief is a novel by Fiona McIntosh that follows Severine Kassel after she claims a set of exquisite Byzantine pearls at the British Museum belong to her family, triggering a hunt for former Nazi Ruda Mayek, with an ex-Mossad agent joining the chase. But Severine’s plans are complicated by the solicitor’s confidentiality, and as she pursues Mayek’s trail, her tightly controlled life begins to unravel, threatening to expose her own secrets.
