Ali Hazelwood fans, our favorite fake-dating scientists are finally leaving the lab and heading to Prime Video. Based on the bestselling romance, The Love Hypothesis follows PhD candidate Olive Smith after an impulsive kiss lands her in a fake relationship with notoriously intimidating professor Adam Carlsen. Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman are stepping into the roles of Olive and Adam, bringing plenty of awkward experiments, grumpy-meets-sunshine tension and undeniable chemistry with them.

Practical Magic 2

The Owens sisters are back, and their return couldn’t be better timed for the beginning of spooky season. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman reunite as Sally and Gillian Owens alongside returning stars Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest. Inspired by Alice Hoffman’s Practical Magic series and The Book of Magic, the long-awaited sequel promises another enchanting story filled with sisterhood, family secrets and the curse that has followed generations of Owens women.

You+Me: Against the World

Based on Emma Green’s French romance Toi + Moi, this Prime Video adaptation follows 18-year-old Alma Lancaster, a young woman raised in a wealthy family that believes she is studying law. In reality, Alma is secretly pursuing her dream of working in film—and attempting to build a future that belongs to her. Starring Vittoria de Savoie and Lucas Barski, this international romance is perfect for anyone looking to discover their next dramatic book-to-screen obsession.

Based on Ryan David Jahn’s award-winning novel The Dispatcher, this Apple TV thriller follows former police detective Ian Ridley, whose young daughter disappeared without a trace 11 years ago. Now working as an emergency dispatcher, Ian receives a distress call from a teenage girl he is convinced is his missing daughter. Patrick Brammall leads the six-episode series alongside Maxine Peake and Brendan Cowell in what sounds like the perfect mystery to carry us into fall.

Slow Horses (Season 6)

The agents of Slough House are running for their lives. Adapted from Joe Country and Slough House, the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron’s espionage series, the new season places Jackson Lamb and his dysfunctional team in the middle of a deadly game of retaliation and revenge. Gary Oldman returns as the brilliantly abrasive Lamb alongside Jack Lowden and Kristin Scott Thomas.

Neagley

One of the most intriguing characters from Lee Child’s Jack Reacher universe is finally taking the lead. Maria Sten reprises her role as private investigator Frances Neagley, who begins searching for answers after a trusted friend dies under suspicious circumstances. The Prime Video spinoff also includes an appearance from Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher, making it an easy addition to any longtime Reacher fan’s watchlist.

The Final Problem

A storm, an isolated island and a hotel filled with murder suspects—what more could a mystery reader want? Based on Arturo Pérez-Reverte’s novel, this Netflix period thriller strands 13 people on an island near Mallorca in 1959. When an English tourist is found dead, a retired actor once famous for portraying Sherlock Holmes becomes an unlikely detective. Led by José Coronado, María Valverde, Martiño Rivas and Maribel Verdú, this Spanish miniseries sounds like the ideal watch for anyone who loves a clever, atmospheric locked-room mystery.
