With the winter doldrums in full effect, celebrities are grabbing a good book or jet-setting to their favorite vacation spots to get away with their best travel accessory: books. With so many amazing titles to come this year, there’s no telling which ones celebrities will be picking up. This is what Hollywood’s reading this winter.

Bella Thorne is reading Bachelor Nation: Inside the World of America’s Favorite Guilty Pleasure by Amy Kaufman

A favorite of mine from 2018, Bachelor Nation is an absolute must-read for any Bachelor/Bachelorette fan. The ins and outs of the show, the hidden secrets and the tell-alls are highlighted in this endearing read, with each page revealing something shocking. Kaufman got down to the nitty-gritty of the show and the book reads like the best rose ceremony you have ever seen.

Helen Hunt is reading An American Marriage by Tayari Jones

Oprah’s book club pick for 2018, Jones’s An American Marriage centers around a love triangle between a married couple and a close friend and allegations that will change them forever. When the husband is sentenced to jail for a crime his wife knows he didn’t commit, she turns to her friend for comfort and confidence. The book sounds as good as the potential Mad About You revival!

Cindy Crawford is reading The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah

Legendary supermodel Cindy Crawford curled up with one of my favorite reads of 2018. Leni grows up in Alaska and survives the wild and brutal landscape that eventually shapes her into a strong woman. Not only are the weather conditions tough in this novel – Leni’s father is struggling with PTSD after Vietnam and is violent to the women and people he loves most.

Haylie Duff is reading Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

A Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick in 2018, new mom Haylie Duff shared a photo of her Monday night reading time. Where the Crawdads Sing is about Kya the “swamp girl,” who lives in a marsh and has a mysterious way about her. As if things weren’t strange enough, a murder occurs in a town on the Carolina coast, and all suspicions are suddenly put on Kya.

Kristin Cavallari is reading Feeding You Lies: How to Unravel the Food Industry’s Playbook and Reclaim Your Health by Vani Hari

Cavallari is well known for her Instastories displaying her fabulous cooking skills, so it’s no surprise that she reads up on the food industry in her time off. Feeding You Lies clarifies how to shop and eat as well as what to look for when it comes to the deceiving ways of the food industry. This shocking book dives into things that will have you re-evaluating what you put into your body.

Debra Messing is reading Less by Andrew Sean Greer

Another bestseller of 2018, Will & Grace star Debra Messing was caught reading this around-the-world love-story about a man whose life is falling apart. Greer uses humor and metaphors to capture readers’ hearts and it’s clearly working as Messing has “no words” for this one.

Mandy Moore is reading No Happy Endings: A Memoir by Nora McInerny

Mandy Moore has always been versatile in her acting career but when it comes to This Is Us, you can’t say that she and her fellow actors don’t constantly have you on the edge of tears… or at least that’s how I feel every week. What’s Mandy doing when she’s not making me cry? Reading Nora McInerny’s latest memoir. This new book shares the author’s past tragedies and current joys all the while reminding us that life can throw us anything at any time and that we have to continue to move on.

Gwyneth Paltrow is reading CIRCE by Madeline Miller

Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow couldn’t get enough of this hit bestseller that tells the story of Circe, daughter of the powerful god Helios. Her power and magical ways showcase her inimitable strength and female perseverance, making this an inspirational read for all females.
