Theo of Golden Might Be Hitting The Big Screen
Warner Bros. Pictures is in talks to acquire the film rights to Allen Levi’s bestselling debut novel, Theo of Golden. Tom Hanks is also in talks to star as the title character, with Hanks, Gil Netter, and Gary Goetzman set to produce. Levi will executive produce the adaptation.

The Second Season of The Hunting Wives is Coming in November
The Hunting Wives is returning to Netflix for Season 2 on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26. The eight-episode season will bring back stars including Brittany Snow, Malin Åkerman, Dermot Mulroney, and Jaime Ray Newman.

Dolly All The Time In Works At Sony
Annabel Monaghan’s bestselling novel Dolly All the Time is headed to the big screen. Sony’s 3000 Pictures has acquired the rights to the novel, with Gemma Burgess set to adapt the book and Temple Hill Entertainment producing. The novel follows Dolly as she moves back to Whitfield, Rhode Island, for the summer to help her dad and brother from losing the family home. While there, she meets Stewart Whitfield, who’s fresh off a very public breakup. Dolly and Stewart find themselves in a fake dating situationship to help him get back on his feet, which only grows more real the more time the two spend together.

Shay Rudolph Joins the Off Campus Cast
Amazon Prime Video’s Off Campus has found its Summer Di Laurentis. Shay Rudolph will join for the second season in the guest role, as it focuses on the romance between Allie Hayes and Summer’s brother, Dean Di Laurentis.

Netflix Released a First Look at the New East of Eden Adaptation
John Steinbeck’s classic novel East of Eden is being adapted into a limited television series by Zoe Kazan, starring Florence Pugh. The release is a full-circle moment for Kazan, whose grandfather, Elia Kazan, directed the 1955 film adaptation of the novel. See the first look here.

Sarah MacLean’s Hell’s Bells Series is Coming to an End with Mastermind
