The Cheerleaders by Kara Thomas

All the cheerleaders in Sunnybrook are dead for one reason or another and Monica, whose sister was one of the cheerleaders, just wants to move one.  Fast forward to years later when the mystery unfolds and Monica is at the center of it.

Pretty Little Liars is the OG of YA suspense and fabulousness.  The first in an AH-mazing series about a group of friends who are haunted by their friend who turns up dead.  The television series is a must watch as well.
