Fans of Ruth Ware are in for a treat! Her New York Times and USA Today bestselling novel The Woman in Cabin 10 has been adapted into a film for Netflix. The psychological thriller stars Keira Knightley as the travel journalist Lo Blacklock, alongside Hannah Waddingham, Guy Pearce, and Kaya Scodelario. Directed by Simon Stone, this feature film will be released on October 10, 2025.
Ware’s novel from 2016 is still so relevant today in the film adaptation because of the themes it explores about society’s distrust of the female perspective. The characters on the cruise refuse to believe Lo’s story, will you?
