Love it or hate it, the international bestseller is getting a brand new take. Though the details are vague on this vampire series, fans can look forward to a resurfacing of Stephanie Meyer’s sensational story.  Whether this will be a remake of the original or an offshoot, is still TBD, but feel free to dust off that Team Edward/Team Jacob merch anyway.=

It Ends With Us Casting

In other bestseller adaptation news, Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us just got a major announcement. The BookTok breakout hit has cast Brandon Sklenar to play Atlas Corrigan. The 1923 actor joins Blake Lively starring as Lily Bloom and Justin Baldoni playing the part of Ryle.

Before I Let Go Adaptation

Kennedy Ryan’s bestselling novel is in development at Peacock. Before I Let Go is the story of a divorced couple finding their co-parenting stride while grappling over what they’ve given up. Are they destined to be together or is there no such thing as a second chance? Ryan will serve as an executive producer alongside John Legend’s Get Lifted Film Co.

Matt Haig’s How to Stop Time Will Star Benedict Cumberbatch

The forthcoming TV series based on Matt Haig’s How to Stop Time has cast their leading man. Marvel’s Benedict Cumberatch will play Tom Hazard, a man who ages incredibly slowly and lives for centuries, grappling with the most human of emotions: love. StudioCanal will executive produce and are currently also working on another recent bestseller of Haig’s, The Midnight Library.
