Fans have been waiting nearly ten years for this news. E. Lockhart’s multi-million copy, #1 New York Times bestselling YA novel We Were Liars appears to be moving forward with the adaptation as casting news was recently released. In this scandalous story of a wealthy family secluded on a private vacation island with all their secrets. Mamie Gummer (True Detective) will play Carrie Sinclair, Caitlin FitzGerald (Succession) will star as Penny Sinclair and Candice King (The Vampire Diaries) was cast as Bess Sinclair.
